How To Check Ownership Of Any SIM / Mobile Number

1st Method:

For Ufone:- Send Blank Sms To 696 And you will recieve your sim owners details in a few moments.
Price:- Free

For Mobilink:-Send name in a Sms To 300 And you will recieve your sim owners details in a few moments.
Price:- 3 Rs

For Warid:-Sms Name to 129. And you will recieve your sim owners details in a few moments.
Price:- 1.27 Rs

For Telenor:-Go to http://wss.telenor.com.pk and register your number online after creating account for yourself log in to your account and you will see your account owner’s Name and CNIC number.
Price:- Free

2nd Method:

From Your Cell Phone send a blank (empty) Message to 667.
You'll soon recieve a message with Owners Name.
Price:- Depend on you operator.
If not registered, register your sim otherwise it might be blocked.


For Online:

For checking the ownership online just put this link to your browser and enter CNIC number. I think thsi record is a bit older.Last time updated in early 2010.

This comprises of two short codes one is 696 through which you will be able to confirm the ownership of the number.
The other short code is 667 through which along with the ownership you can also confirm the CNIC entered against the MSISDN.
At present SMS alerts are available with us through which intimation is given to you as soon as data entry is completed. you will receive an SMS comprising of the you Name.
  •  You can confirm owner ship by  Blank SMS on 696.
  • You can confirm owner ship by sending ”MNP”  on 667.
Write new message option from your mobile Handset and write MNP in Message and sent it to 667 and then within a minute after message sent confirmation you will receive a back message from PTA with this format

Primary ID: 33100-XXXXXXX-X
IMSI:XXXXXXXXXXXX
Note that simply a blank SMS to 667 is also considered to be your inquiry of to check owner name of the SIM so blank SMS to 667 also give you a detail SMS back with the honor name.
